I've been eating at this place for years. Its about the same price as fast food places now being around $15 a person (depending on what you get ofc) super good food. I plan to continue coming here if I'm feeling hibachi

Hands down best white sauce in town and what I’ve learned is that you have to go at the right time of day. If you go when they’re busy it’s just ok. I went yesterday, called in my order (it’s a must) and the food was great. I ordered the steak and shrimp and they were not overcooked. BUT it has happened in the last especially with their chicken. The prices have increased as well, almost doubled. Don’t expect good customer service, it’s always been subpar.

June 2025: I’m kinda shocked by the reviews. I enjoy going to the restaurant for the lunch specials, which is less than $10 for meat, veggies , rice, and a drink. They do cook it batches, but the wait has been reasonable at 5-10 minutes. I always dine-in, but I’ve gotten a plate to-go for a friend and they thought the chicken was lacking sauce, which I do agree with and it’s one reason I prefer to eat it straight from the grill. I do think they need to make sure they’re keeping the white sauce on the counter cold and fresh and cleaning the bottles often. Other than that, I don’t have any true concerns. Great prices, great food, great service, and great location.

Been eating here for years and always love the place. Great food and I especially love their customer service. I was in line once and they were taking an order over the phone. The guy was insisting that they should offer delivery. The cashier repeated they don’t do delivery a few times before straight up hanging up on the guy without a care in the world. Then he got back to serving the customers in line who weren’t being a pain. Absolute legend. 10/10 would recommend.

Ok for an express, I feel it has declined a little over the years. Steak, always well, well done and dry.

This is the best Japanese hibachi ever!! Price point is spot on and the food is phenomenal. We have been eating here for 20 years and it’s quality and taste remain!!

Came here for the first time yesterday. Food was great. Ordered the hibachi chicken and steak. Chicken and steak was well cooked and still juicy on the inside. Rice was seasoned to perfection. Veggies were steamed perfectly too. A little on the pricey side but the food lived up to it's expectation.

The OG of Greensboro. The world famous “White Sauce”. This place goes back decades ago and still one of my go-to establishments for quick lunch. I always get Hibachi Filet Mignon, which is not the actual Filet Mignon of course, but definitely a more tender beef cut compared to other restaurants.
